“Soulful Leadership” is a remarkable book full of incredible tools & wisdom, for creating the best version of you, from high vibe leaders. One of my favorite chapters is the “Daily Journal Detox: A Quantum Leap for Your Soul” by the extraordinary Valerie Sorrentino, Life Energy Mastery Coach. Her writings reconnected me to my Heart & reminded me of the power & importance of Journaling, on so many levels, and most importantly connecting with our Divine Self/Soul. Valerie’s elegant & empowering guidance inspired me to grab a pen, my journal & start writing with a loving framework. Valerie shared “Now, my soul-inspired journal was no longer a place to complain; it became a refuge of loving tenderness. It became a place of strength, to develop power from within me.”

This Chapter & the entire book are a Must Read! I highly recommend Soulful Leadership with great appreciation for every Author’s contribution!

Chapter after chapter, I found inspiration from a concept, idea, exercise, or personal story that moved me to tears, to laughter, to an awakening, or to action. The authors’ down-to-earth exercises or strategies such as Debra Morrison’s tips for using the energy of money as a tool to fulfill one’s purpose, Andrea Isaacs’s EnneaMotion, and Dr. Lori Leyden’s Grace Process invite one to be grounded in a more spirit-filled existence and to step powerfully into a world that is screaming for each of us to be soulfully connected--no matter what our profession or purpose. Soulful Leadership: Tools for a New Way of Being by Mark Porteous and Renee Porteous is a fantastic collection of articles by different leaders and offers insights into how to connect to yourself on a deep level so that you can be the best leader and person possible. The book is organized into three different sections and each one is dedicated to a different topic on the idea of connecting to yourself and serving others. The essays are all fairly short and can easily be read in one sitting. I can see this being a good book to sit on a coffee table or night stand, something to be discussed and reflected on. If you are looking to find a way to connect to yourself and serve those around you, then this is a great read for you.

A very insightful, beneficial book for all soulful entrepreneurs looking to make a bigger difference, expand our skills and tribes, and learn from others who have major lessons to share to help us on our journey. Organized into three parts (Connecting to who you are at the soul level, connecting to your soul purpose, and Connecting to your soul tribe), you can easily find the topics, stories, and information you need in the moment. I especially valued the chapter entitled The Triple E of Energy, Enthusiasm and Engagement by Nancy Juetten, who calls us to serve at our highest level, mind the gaps in our skill set or mindset, invest in ourselves, and surround outselves with like-minded people. What better advice could any soulful entrepreneur find?
