Amazon has announced that one of their upcoming bookstores will include a café, confusing many.
The online retailing giant’s experiments with physical locations have been regarded as experiments to see how they could succeed where Barnes and Noble is failing and yet the unveiling of these plans leave experts baffled as to why Amazon is utilizing a strategy that set Barnes and Noble apart.
At this time, this is the only location Amazon has plans to include a café as well, so could they be experimenting with the idea of implementing a café to see how well it draws in customers as opposed to their location that have no café?
The Amazon bookstore with café is to be opened in Walnut Creek, California with no opening date set yet.
